    And one of those recipes that cud bring back bygone memories which you didn’t think had place in your brain shelves. It's been many years now, I think I was 13 - 14 yrs old and during our stay in Kanpur, there used to be a sweet shop that used to sell Dhoklas with lots of mustards seeds and green chillies over them, served well with Green chutney.
    Me and my brother used to peep from our window, when very fresh, fluffiest, softest, spongiest things are made and ready to be displayed on the shop. With its tempting and flavoured smell, I so used to go totally ga-ga over them. 
    We used to shout n scream.. " mama papa... Dhokla is Ready... "
    And they used to send someone there to purchase a portion and we would relish and have them.


    Panchratna Dal



    This is a famous Rajasthani dish. As people relish dal makhani in punjab, so is dal panchratna in Rajasthan.

    Punjabi Kadhi Pakora



    Very delicious and popular punjabi dish. When children are away from their nest either for higher education or for their career they often miss home cooked food prepared lovingly by their mother.
    Punjabi kadhi is one of them.

    Team them with hot bhature, kulche or rice!!

    Paneer Manchurian



    Children are very fond of chinese cuisine. Whenever I organise a get together party for my son and his friends, his first preference of the menu would be chinese and he will say "Mom, please make manchurian too..". And I love when he gives his choice of menu... :)

    Bhature



    It is a fried Indian bread usually had with hot n spicy chana masala ( chick peas ). It is basically a Punjabi dish but is enjoyed by usually everyone.
    They are deep fried but are very tempting!
