Indian Delicasies

Malpue are one of the favourite Indian Delicasies...
And of course one of the favourite desserts in marriages! have u ever seen people having malpues with lots and lots of rabri !!

Ummm Phirni. One of the most special recipe I learnt from my grandma, which is so aromatic, that I could never control myself from having it directly from the serving bowl itself. My grandma would always insist to have it properly. She would scream, Shweta please have it properly, serve yourself, or allow me to. But the unforgotten n exotic taste during every summer vacations would force me to have it like that only.
Phirni, is a thick and creamy, rice based pudding. which has it natural aroma due to generous saffron and cardamom.

Come winters and fresh carrots invite us for feasts...
And carrots remind me of Mom's special Gajar Ka Halwa!
As soon as winter comes my mom use to make Gajar Ka Halwa, (we call it Gajrela ). My brother and I like to have it anytime, especially in the evening as it saves us from drinking milk at that time. And Papa and mummy like it after dinner!
