This is an old and my favorite easy cake recipe.It is ideal for afternoon tea with family and friends.   

Cakes are my weakness, especially when they are hot and fresh... The Smell of Freshly baked is so tempting tht i can't resist having it as it is....
And Dates and walnut cake is my favourite cake. I am sharing this recipe with you so that you can relish it with your loved ones today.

Almost everyone loves to eat cake,but not everybody has the skill to bake one whenever they want to.Cake making is required a perfection as there is no way to correct a mistake or no way to coverup the fault.But not all cakes are difficult and intricate to make.Some are quite simple and easy to bake and can be filled and simply decorated with icing for a special occasion.
If you have never done any home baking, here is something for you.A basic sponge cake.Go into the kitchen and bake this cake and decorate with your favourite icing.

Eggless cakes can be had any day of the week and some people do prefer them.
They taste little different as compared to the basic cakes. But what I like is the CAKE !! Whether they are with eggs or without.
The only constarint to have a piece of cake is that it should by very tasty and soft !!

The cakes are hard to resist.
At the very sight of cakes, your hunger suddenly increases.
Cakes are basically baked desset and you can add flavours and ingredients to it, to make it taste best as per your mood and occassion.
I prefer tea time cakes and cakes without icing, as having them without icing, cuts off my calories so that i can have one more piece... :)
