Ingredients
Butter softened 9 tbsp
Powdered sugar 10 tbsp
Egg whites 3
All-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups
Vanilla extract 1 1/2 teaspoons
Semisweet chocolate, melted 6 (1 ounce) squares
Method:
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add egg whites, one by one, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually add flour and vanilla.
Cut the cookies with various cookie cutters and place them onto lightly buttered cookie sheets. Place the cookies little apart.
Bake at 200 degrees C or until straw-coloured for about 8 - 10 minutes.
When cool, dip one end of each cookie in 4 - 6 squares melted chocolate and place on wax paper until chocolate hardens.
Store in a cool and dry place.
