Ingredients
Maida (plain flour), 250gms (2 cups)
Suji (semolina), 100 gms (1 cup)
Soda-bicarb, ½ tsp
Salt, ½ tsp
Sugar, 1 tsp
Sour curd, ½ cup
Oil for deep frying.
Method:
Sift salt, soda and maida.
Add sugar, suji and knead with sour curd to make a dough of rolling consistency. (use warm water if required)
Knead again with greased hands till the dough is smooth. Brush the dough with oil.
Keep the dough in a greased polythene and keep it in a warm place for 3-4 hours.
Make 8-10 balls and roll each ball to an oblong shape, and deep fry in hot oil.
