Ingredients:
Plain flour 2cups
Castor sugar 1cup
Butter 185gms
Eggs 3
Baking powder 11/2tsp
Milk 3tbsp
Vanilla essence 1tsp
Method:
Grease a 20cm round cake tin and line with a grease proof paper.Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs beating well after each addition.Sieve together flour and baking powder.Mix in half the flour and milk, combine well.Add remaining flour and milk and mix well.Add vanilla.Turn in to a prepared tin, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 55 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
