Butter Naan

Ingredients:
All purpose flour (maida), 3 cups
Active dry yeast, 1 tsp, levelled
Warm water, 1 tbsp
Warm milk, 1/2 cup
Curd, 1 tbsp
Sugar, 1/2 tsp
Butter, 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Kalonji (onion seeds), to sprinkle
Method
In a small bowl, add 1 tbsp of luke warm water, pinch of salt and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over it and let it stand until frothy.
In a seperate bowl, mix milk, curd and 1 tbsp oil.
In another pan, sift the flour.
Now, make a well in the center of the flour and add the liquid mixtures.
Fold the mixture with your fingers, lightly rubbing it, till it resembles bread crumbs.
Use water as required to make a soft dough.
Set aside in a bowl and cover it with damp kitchen towel and keep it in a warm place until doubled in size.
Now lighty knead the dough again and then divide the dough into small balls.
Roll them with a rolling pin. dusting with flour.
Shape it into an oblong. Preheat the Oven at 300 degree C for 5 mins. and then place the Naan on a baking sheet, top the naan with some butter and onion seeds and put it inside the oven.
Bake for 2-3 mins or till done/
Serve hot with dals or gravies of your choice.
