Ingredients:
Flour 120gms
Butter 120gms
Castor sugar 120gms
Eggs 3
Baking powder 1tsp
Vanilla essence 1tsp
Method
Sift the flour and baking powder together.
Beat butter and sugar.Add eggs one at a
time. Beat the mixture until pale in colour.
Fold flour mixture lightly with a wooden spoon.
Spoon the mixture in a 8" round greased tin and bake for 25-30 minutes at 160 C.
Turn out on the wire rack, leave to cool completely before icing
