Vanilla Cake

Ingredients
Eggs, 2
Butter, 1/2 cup
Powdered Sugar, 3/4 cup
Flour, 1 cup
Baking Powder, 1 tsp, levelled
Vanilla Essence, 1 tsp
9" cake tin, prepared with oil and flour
Soda bi carb, 1/4 tsp, levelled
Method
Mix flour, baking powder and soda bi carb togeher. Sieve them together twice, so that they mix well.
In a seperate bowl, beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
In another bowl, beat the eggs till frothy.
Add these beaten
eggs to the butter mixture, and mix well.
Divide the flour mix, into 3-4 portions and add them one by one to the butter egg mixture. Do not beat, lightly fold them.
Transfer the cake mixture to the prepared tin.
In a pre-heated oven, bake the cake at 180 degrees C, for 30-35 minutes.
You can check the cake with he knife test, i.e., prick the cake with the knife, if it comes out clean, the cake is cooked.
When done, take out the cake from the oven, let it cool for 5 minutes.
Invert it to the wire rack and serve as you desire.
